General Adjuster

CIS Claims Services is seeking a 1099 experienced GA (General Adjuster) to complete service work assignments in your state/all states where you are licensed and willing to travel. Appraisal is dispute resolution. Services you will provide include but are not limited to communication with the Insured's appraiser and the carrier desk adjuster within 24 hours of assignment, placement of an umpire and inspection with the opposing appraiser within 15 days, reach agreement on the amount of the loss within 30 days from the date of inspection or move to umpire, and completing detailed documents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Independent Adjusters license in state(s) that claims will be assigned

· Mandatory: Minimum of 10 years of field adjusting experience

· Be able to pass background check

· Communicate with the Insured's appraiser and desk adjuster

· Must be able and willing to climb all roofs

· Excellent estimating, negotiation and written skills

· Have experience with disputed claims

· Applicants must be willing to travel

Hours required: Flexible Schedule with ability to communicate with the Insured's appraiser and desk adjuster within 24 hours of the assignment being assigned and schedule an onsite appointment within carrier guidelines.

Compensation/Service Fees: Contracted percentage of the carrier’s fee based on time and expense. Mileage over 100 miles is paid at published IRS rate per mile and drive time over two hours is paid at full hourly rate.

Unlike other companies who pay adjuster only after they are paid, CIS Claim Services Adjusters are paid for services according to when adjuster submits successful final report.
