Who You'll work with:
We provide the basic building blocks for the Cisco Security Cloud. Our continuous mission is to make our products work together seamlessly, crafting a fantastic user experience for our customers.
Our team is building a unified experience for how products are provisioned and how Identity & Access is managed in the platform. Key objectives include:
- Provide a common provisioning, identity and access management (PIAM) capability eliminating friction as the user pivots from tool to tool within the portfolio and simplifying user management.
- Enable Cisco Secure product teams to accelerate delivery of value and focus more on innovation
- Foster a great developer experience for the product teams within Cisco Security by providing highly available APIs with documentation and libraries, self-service tools, and platform observability.
Who You are:
As a Fullstack Senior Software Engineer, you will tackle challenges with a new lens and iterate with a passion for improvement. Problem-solving and innovating will be the name of the game. Responsibilities include:
- Planning at the quarter and sprint level
- Reviewing code (PRs)
- Staying on top of code health
- Diagnosing production issues
- Ensuring the team and our customers are not blocked
- Understanding impact of security vulnerabilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields
- 5 years of professional experience in Software Development
- 2 years of experience developing, deploying and handling large-scale cloud-native web applications
- Experience with at least one front end framework like: React(preferred), NodeJS and at least one programming language such as Golang(preferred), Java and storage systems like SQL, NoSQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Go/Java, Terraform, Kubernetes and Serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, AppSync and fine tuning them for performance and scalability
- Experience in Identity and single sign-on technologies (e.g., OIDC, OAuth, SAML, Okta or similar)
- Familiarity with secure development practices - e.g., mitigating the OWASP Top Ten
- Ability to communicate clearly and summarize information to others concisely
