WHAT YOU’LL DO
Cisco's Sponsorship team is seeking an organized and motivated Director of Sponsorship Ops to join its team dedicated to helping Cisco Sales teams create new opportunities and increase pipeline through strategic sponsorship relationships.

You will be responsible for consulting with Sales, Field Marketing, and business groups to design and deliver comprehensive strategies and sets of activities that align efforts into coherent stream of work that will help Cisco sales-makers acquire new customers, cross-sell new solutions to existing accounts, and increase share of wallet within existing accounts by leveraging sponsorship opportunities uncovered by the sales team.

We are looking for an experienced leader and program management expert who wants to make a big impact by helping teams come together, plan and flawlessly execute marketing launch ops to meet our business objectives.

This role will work cross-functionally with Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing to collaboratively plan and manage activities, track readiness and support solving for gaps or how to deliver solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Represent the team’s priorities and vision for engagement, planning and execution.

Create metrics and milestones that layer up to organization OKRs for Marketing and Sales and generate a scaleable, repeatable dashboard for tracking success.

Proactively identify challenges and opportunities requiring executive engagement.

Practical experience with process design, engagement modeling and leading Change Management

Foster cross-organizational collaboration and execution across key organizations (Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales)

Partner cross-functionally to establish and report key performance indicators, track program results against intended business outcomes, and assess overall efficiency of the initiative.

Ability to problem solve creatively to complete complex assignments.

Oversee budget and resource planning.

Lead and mentor teams cross-functionally and collaboratively towards successful C Suite engagements throughout the organization

Owning and planning for the engagement model and OKR system

Expert in collaborating and presenting to Senior Leadership.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Vice President of Sponsorships and C Suite Engagement Strategy, who oversees Sponsorship and C Suite Engagement across multiple campaigns, geographies, and business unit priorities that lead to compelling opportunities to connect with critically relevant C Suite members of our customer base and prospects. You will collaborate with peer organizations and key stakeholders and their teams as you help them leverage Sponsorship engagement that drives results. You will work closely with Field Marketing, Global Events and the Regional Sales teams to cultivate and drive a cohesive, unified business plan that helps the company acquire new customers, cross-sell new solutions into existing accounts and increase share of wallet for landed accounts. The successful candidate will have expert level program management experience, strong communication and organization skills, an analytical mind, and be able to work with a team of Marketing, Sales, and analytics professionals while managing critical initiatives themselves.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree and 15 years of demonstrated experience in program and change management role(s) and experience with process development, with a highly-tuned attention to detail and dependencies
5 years in people management
Experience managing and leading in cross-functional scenarios
Strong communications & influencing skills, experience speaking publicly & working with partners at all levels, producing exec level content and conducting exec conversations.
Experience designing metrics, milestones and OKRs

Preferred Qualifications:

A people leader who inspires their team, understands the values of trust, accountability and resiliency

Consistent track record in cross-functional collaboration, establishing relationships and driving successful outcomes in a matrixed environment.

3 years experience in Transformation work

Strong in framing & structuring business problems, prioritizing the effort, building an exec level story complete with recommendations.

Ability to independently problem solve to complete sophisticated assignments.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
