Shift: FLEX/PRN
Physical Therapist Assistant primary responsibilities include:
- Provides Physical Therapy services to customers under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in accordance with state regulations.
- Assists the Physical Therapist in the evaluation process.
- Assists the Physical Therapist in the delivery of patient treatment modalities. Provides treatment as outlined in the therapy plan of care and in accordance with established standards of practice and department procedures. Consistently demonstrates sound judgment in the planning, implementation and follow-up of customer treatment plans. Modification of the treatment plan is made through prior consultation with the Physical Therapist.
- Maintains customer caseload per clinical and productivity standards.
Physical Therapist Assistant Education and Experience Requirements:
- Previous PTA experience in SNF/LTC.
- Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current or provisional Florida therapy license.
- Successful completion of the National Certification Exam for Registered Physical Therapy Assistants.
