Truck Dispatcher Position Information:
As a Truck Dispatcher with Citadel Cartage, you will work directly with our customers to determine their ground transportation needs and work directly with our network of employee and IC drivers to coordinate routes to pick up and deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, you will monitor and audit company and driver operations to ensure compliance with all rules and guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies and the company.
Pay: $23-26/hour 15% shift differential
Schedule:
Training: *In-office training required*
- Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm
Permanent: *Work-from-home*
- Permanent Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00pm - 4:30am MT
- Must be able to work in-office at least 1 day per month to attend required team meeting and participate in ongoing training.
- Must be able to also work rotating on-call weekend and holiday coverage.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 2 years of experience performing driver dispatching
- Has 1 years of experience one or more of the following: DOT hours of service, auditing, record-keeping, and customer service
- Has experience utilizing bid boards a plus
- Can work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
- Possesses exceptional communication skills
- Is proficient with computers and can quickly learn new programs
- Is proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Is detail-oriented and organized
- Possesses excellent time management skills, and can prioritize various activities/projects
- Can work both autonomously and in a team
- Can understand, communicate and comply with regulations, rules and policies
- Can maintain and reconcile financial and other records, in compliance with all rules and regulations
