Purpose
The Sales Engineer is responsible in support of Sales and Marketing for the development of the quotation for the Completion/Modification/refurbishment RFQ. The successful candidate is a professional who is fluent in all aspects of Completions of VIP/VVIP Aircraft and the interior build process to include CMS/IFE and Aircraft Systems. The successful candidate we be very familiar with FAA regulations and associated certification requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
· Maintains the Citadel culture of excellence and exceptional customer experience standard.
- Helps develops strategy for Sales and existing accounts.
- Negotiates framework agreements, terms, and conditions of business with vendors.
- Responsible for the acquisition of new business with existing customers, manages relations with existing customers, and is responsible for the pricing strategy for Key Clients.
- Negotiates prices with existing customers.
- Visits Key Clients, vendors, and suppliers as requested.
- Reviews account data for sales planning and reports to the Sr. VP of Sales.
- Has a prospective of cost reduction measures, material price levels, and competition.
- Interfaces with other departments on joining projects and technology development.
- Supports executive reviews of accounts.
- Prepares, coordinates and gives technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
- Works with customers and Engineers to ensure equipment meets system requirements.
- Communicates with the sales team.
- Secures orders, guarantees product standards and assures product delivery.
- Establishes customer rapport and acceptance.
- Plans for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
- Helps clients solve problems with product usage.
- Responsible to develop the completion/modification/refurbishment specification document
- Responsible to create the sales opportunity quote to included labor and materials based on the aircraft specification document.
- Responsible to obtain vendor quotes via RFQ process to support the project quote.
- Responsible to coordinate as necessary the production specialty shops labor hours in support of the project quote.
- Assimilates quotes progress per project for senior management review and knowledge.
- Upon contract award, work with planning to develop implementation of the project in Corridor.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or 6 years of direct experience leading the design, certification and modification of aircraft electrical systems.
- With degree, 3 years of experience with Aviation sales, engineering and management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good listener.
- Engineering process experience with VIP and VVIP completions for narrow and wide body aircraft.
- Experience with Project, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software applications.
- Account Executive experience.
