THE POSITION

We are looking for Armed and Unarmed Security Officers and Supervisors to join our team. This position will patrol the interior and exterior of the Dillon Dam/Reservoir in Colorado's Summit County. Armed Security Officers must legally possess a firearm (we will train), and additional certifications are highly valued, such as a baton permit, pepper spray permit, and CPR certification. You must be able to collaborate with the other members of our team to limit any potential risks. We expect each infraction to be thoroughly investigated and properly documented. Our ideal candidate has military, law enforcement, or security experience. The schedule for this position works 12 hour shifts for 3 days on and then has 4 days off.

Qualification Requirements:

• Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).
• Ability to perform job tasks in an extremely professional manner in a customer service driven industry.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to pass a background check and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to stand and walk for several hours per shift.
• Reliable transportation and proximity to site(s).
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Punctuality, never late.
• Must own a smartphone for scheduling and clocking in / out.
• Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting and crowd control is preferred, but not required.
• Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred, but not required.

THE LOCATION

The Dillon Reservoir, also known as Lake Dillon, is a large and fresh reservoir for the city and metro areas of Denver and is owned and operated by The Denver Water Board. This reservoir is located in Dillon, Colorado, which is in Summit County and borders other small mountain towns such as: Frisco and Silverthorne. The Reservoir covers just over 3000 acres with 25 miles of pine-forested shoreline. PAY RATE

Security Officers:

• Unarmed: Starting at $23.32 per hour
• Armed: Starting at $24.05 per hour

Security Supervisors:

• Unarmed: Starting at $24.96 per hour
• Armed: Starting at $25.74 per hour

Pay: $23.75 - $25.00 per hour
