A Tank Program Foreman at CITGO Petroleum Corporation’s Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing routine, extraordinary, and turnaround maintenance activities for the CITGO Lake Charles Refinery. As a Tank Program Foreman in the Area Maintenance department, duties will include supporting budget and scope development for routine and turnaround activities, and ensuring knowledge and compliance of CITGO procedures and policies for hourly maintenance personnel.
Additional Responsibilities:- Coordinate and update all maintenance work with planning & scheduling, operations, warehouse, other supervisors & core maintenance groups daily
- Manage projects and activities for core crafts and multi-skilled craftsman in area of responsibility as efficiently as possible to increase effectiveness and productivity
- Lead program maintenance efforts in achieving compliance with environmental regulations; research ways to eliminate or re-circulate environmental waste
- Control and monitor mechanical integrity PM (preventative maintenance) work orders and assure these work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist in troubleshooting and developing repair strategies to resolve deficiencies and equipment failures and improve equipment reliability
- Work rolling 40’s shift to allow seven day a week execution without overtime
Minimum Qualifications
- Five (5) years job related experience required
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in SAP
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- CITGO hourly employees must be qualified as a temporary supervisor per the Supervisor Development Process (OSDP, MSDP, or LSDP) and meet the minimum qualifications listed above.
Eligibility Requirement: The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for employment must meet eligibility criteria to obtain a TWIC card.
