Job Purpose:

Production Operations provides the single point from which we continually monitor infrastructure and application services, lead major incident response, and execute routine operational tasks. In addition we are also responsible for consistent service delivery through best practice ITIL process delivery in the areas of Incident, Problem, Change, Deployment and Configuration Management.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic person to join the Service Data Engineering group that spans the global organization. Candidates need to be ready to take on the challenges of working in a fast-paced, world class environment and ready to identify, drive and implement continual service improvement work across our teams.  This is a role that requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which data management   The candidate will have the ability to evaluate judgements based on the analysis of factual information and must be able to exchange information in a concise way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity.

The successful candidate will identify, drive, and implement the Data Management and Service Optimization across Production Operations regionally and globally, including but not limited to:

• Accountable for delivery of measurable competitive advantage for Production Operations and our clients through strategic data management
• Evidence created capacity is used to materially advance service offering scope and maturity
• Deliver tangible data across organizational KPIs
• Define and measure report and data standardization across the infrastructure, process and tooling throughout the lifecycle, driving adoption of Technology Strategy
• Delivery against of our key initiatives.
• Work with teams across the organization together and drive execution of delivery to plan, ensuring owners deliver on their commitments
• Execute roadmap and plans to support sustainable improvement, and reflect measurable progress against plans through reporting with clear baselines and trending, working independently and with our global teams to clearly present KPIs to senior management both within and external to our group.

Job Background/Context:

Key Responsibilities:

• Previous relevant experience in data management
• Demonstrate ability to problem solve
• Customer service skills
• High attention to detail
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in data analytics in financial industry
• Good command of Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau; other statistical and data management software knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in infrastructure maintenance a plus, in terms of Windows, MS SQL and basic UNIX
• Strong logical, analytical, numerical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Independent and a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Person Specification

Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills
• Excel, Python, Power BI, Tableau is a plus
• Good SQL understanding (Mostly Microsoft SQL)
• Ability to question deviations from the norm 
• Experience with leading cross business projects
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project or initiative
• Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data and draw conclusions
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solution data management and reporting problems based on changing requirements
