Job Overview:
The Global Data Center Strategy and Planning Team is a group of high-performing team of creative problem solvers inciting tactical and strategic changes that enhance data center processes and productivity as well as mitigating risks for the franchise. The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is an intermediate level role within this team and is responsible to effectively collaborate with peers, partners, and global clients to identify data center related initiatives and drive these initiatives to an effective outcome.
The role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Good knowledge of data center operation, facilities, and capacity management
Advanced knowledge of performance metrics and reporting, technical problem resolution, and risk management
Experience gathering and analyzing data to effect meaningful change in areas that need improvement
Ability to communicate and drive strategic initiatives to clients, stakeholders, and senior management
Conduct project related research and able to develop and present sound business cases using PowerPoint
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Qualifications
6-10 years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services
Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
