What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning Associate (Hybrid) position at Citi?
Citi’s Chief Administration Office (CAO) was established in 2020 to oversee the company’s regulatory engagement, project management and to lead transformation efforts. Now, the CAO organization has grown to over 600 employees and is at the center of a multi-billion dollar transformation that will shape the future of the company over the next coming years. CAO is fast-growing and is in need of motivated talent. The CAO Strategy & Planning Lead is seeking AVP, Planning with responsibility for helping the Planning Lead run the governance and program management of the CAO organization. He/she will also manage projects across functional teams, while working very closely with senior leaders within and outside of CAO.
The CAO Strategy & Planning team is a high impact group with highly capable individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Support CAO Planning Lead to run the governance and program management to enable Citi’s CAO to oversee all areas of accountability within Citi’s Transformation program
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and designees on executive reporting ensuring the necessary checkpoints have been implemented and met
- Track and monitor the status against each of the Planning work streams and inform the Planning Lead with recommendations
- Develop a view of various aspects of CAO office to help prioritize / reprioritize projects based on practical mindset of what can be achieved
- Drive operational excellence and a closed loop planning by recommending metrics, processes and cadences to the Planning Lead
- Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional planning work streams within/across programs and with Senior Management
- Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across the CAO organization to ensure a consistent approach to their respective areas that is embedded in the broader strategic vision
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant business experience
- Advanced project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative environment to ensure initiatives meet mutually agreed upon desired results between functional areas
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Proven ability to develop ideas from concept to an executable plan
- Strong business planning, organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
