What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Risk Manager - MCA position at Citi?
This new role is part of Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Risk Management and Governance and is primary focused Citi’s Manager Control Assessment (MCA) / Self-Assessment process. The role will include assisting the manager in providing oversight and maintenance of Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) & the Chief Technology Office (CTO) MCA. The role will combine expertise in self assessment processes, internal controls and program management to ensure adherence with Citi's policies and standards governing MCA.
Responsibilities:
- Support management in developing key MCA Metrics that drive decisions of management and control improvement.
- Gain clear understanding of MCA corporate requirements and deliver CTI requirements on time.
- Lead and or Coordinate the preparation of the reporting package for Senior Management end of quarter sign off process. (QRA, ARA, etc.)
- Work with the various risk stakeholders in Risk Management organization to ensure that process and procedures remain in compliance with applicable Corporate Policies (i.e., CITMP) and Standards (e.g., Information Security).
- Review (QRA) submissions and assist partners with any obstacles.
- Liaison with Sectors and Regions to assist with transparencies and management oversight of centralized controls performed by Global CTI/CTO teams. for their reporting processes
- Adhoc Projects
- Work with Risk & Control colleagues across CTI to establish and maintain MCA framework
- Develop processes, tools and analyses to proactively manage MCA
- Lead and direct a team of professionals responsible for oversight of CTI/CTO MCA
- Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in technology risks and controls
- Strong understanding of Citi’s MCA process
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization.
- Self-starting with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Project management and change capabilities are essential
- Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
