The Dig Design/Copy Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret creative briefs alongside members of experience design team
- Understand customer goals, business requirements, technical constraints, and able to work within project parameters
- Develop original messaging concepts and unexpected creative solutions that uphold the personality and intent of the Citi voice
- Write scripts for video content and call centers, instructional copy, and marketing copy that adheres to the brand voice
- Develop content strategies through content inventories, current-state analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, user testing, and website metrics
- Simplify the customer experience through succinct, thoughtful and personalized messaging
- Able to present objectives, design approaches, and creative solutions persuasively to internal stakeholders as well as internal teams
- Delivery copy decks and messaging strategies based on established style guides
- Develop detailed messaging guidelines/specs, and oversee production to ensure quality of work and final deliverable on small to large projects
- Support and participate in creative presentations to internal stakeholders
- Experiment with new tools and techniques and share your learning
- Engage and take initiative in all aspects of the project
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience
- Excellent command of grammar, word usage, syntax, and common colloquialisms
- Advanced-level knowledge of Word, Excel, In-Design and other common software platforms
- Portfolio that represents a range of writing styles, subject matter, and length
- Experience presenting work to clients and stake holders
- Experience working in Agile Methodologies and Design Thinking
- Appreciation for interaction design, site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation
- Experienced knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of web technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and can articulate creative concepts to the internal team and clients
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
