Service Lane Lead

Summary of Position: Primary duties are cleaning and maintaining the premises and vehicles of Citibus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Complies with all Citibus policies and expectations and models Citibus values of Respect, Accountability, Trust and Professionalism in all aspects of job performance.

2. Leads, assists and performs all assigned job duties to the best of his/her abilities while adhering to Citibus policies, procedures, practices and workplace expectations.

3. Checks and assists as needed with properly cleaning and inspecting vehicles on a daily basis.

4. Monitors and assists with keeping the Citibus premises clean on a daily basis.

5. Ensures all vehicles are serviced to include fuel, oil, a/c, fires, batteries, and water.

6. Ensures all vehicle defect forms are completed each night.

7. Ensures all fare-collecting vaults are removed, emptied and replaced each day.

8. Ensures all vehicles are washed and interior maintenance completed each day.

9. Ensures issues that arise on a nightly basis are sent to higher through Citibus email system.

10. Ensures all vehicles are sprayed once a week for viruses.

11. Assists with other duties assigned by Parts Manager and/or Foremen.

12. Some outside working hours may be required for special events and training.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises all service lane employees.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

· Completion of the eighth grade.

· Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Education and/or Experience Requirements: Completion of the eighth grade, no experience required.

LANUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on -one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divided with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving low concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES LICENCES REGISTRATIONS: Must have current Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain one in 90 days.

Selected Applicant must pass a Non DOT drug screen and physical examination for employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
