Job Description
Join our team of IT professionals working on our Federal Clients strategic portal consolidation initiative. The candidate will act as the team’s overall Project Manager and will help drive the solution.
Job Duties:
- Serve as a Project Manager to small team working on a Federal Client’s portal consolidation initiative.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client.
- Assist with current state analysis of client websites and portals.
- Coordinate project inputs with several functional/technical executives, managers, project core teams, and project staff to formulate appropriate project tools, processes and methodologies.
- Evaluate program labor hour execution and billing against contractual performance criteria and analyze, recommend, and report findings on a regular basis.
- Help establish an Agile approach and develop a high-level roadmap for portal consolidation.
- Develop a product backlog.
- Oversee project delivery and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Must have 6 years of project management, program management, or IT management experience.
- Must have 10 years of experience working in IT.
- Must have experience managing government projects and working on financial systems.
- Must be experienced in Agile software development and management methodologies.
- Must be comfortable communicating with and presenting to executives.
Education:
- Must have a Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
- PMI Project Management Professional certification (preferred)
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Public Trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance is a must.
- US Citizenship is required.
