The Space Operations Analyst provides on-site, classified support to the U.S. Space Force Space Operations Command Chief Data Office to transform the digital capabilities of the Space Force. The Operations Analyst supports requirements development, planning, collaboration, defining, and developing resilient enterprise data capabilities for the Joint force and Combatant Command Commanders.
Duties include:
- Liaison between operators, data analysts, and engineers to drive functional requirements and create an understanding of those requirements to the technical staff.
- Facilitate organizational change to allow centralized information sharing across the Chief Data Office of Space Operations Command (SpOC).
- Worked closely with the Government and Citizant Program Manager, Enterprise Architect, Software Developers, and the Data Analysts to facilitate the data repository creation for the US Space Force (USSF).
- Serve as project lead/manager for subordinate organizations engagement by scheduling interchange meetings, working groups. Coordinate, prepare and provide executive summaries for these engagements.
- Create onboarding training regimen for all new personnel.
- Collaborated with SpOC Battle Management Command, Control, and Communication to develop a joint future business roadmap model to synchronize our efforts and migrate the USSF data into the new Unified Data Library.
The Space Operations Specialist must have:
- Associates degree
- Active Top Secret SCI security clearance
- Deep operational experience
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with working with government and company personnel
- Comfortable holding discussions with senior uniformed and civilian government personnel
- Solid computer skills with Microsoft office suite, telecommunication applications such as Zoom, and MS Teams
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Precision Geo-location Ops
- EW/ SIGINT Ops on Rotary and Fixed-wing Aircraft
