Mortgage Sales Manager

Description: This position is responsible for leading and managing our team of Consumer and Mortgage Lenders to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the mortgage department.

Typical Hours/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:15am-5pm

• Hours may change at any time based on business needs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies consistent with corporate growth targets
• Ensure all mortgage transactions comply with regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations and implement any changes as needed.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve mortgage origination targets.
• Manage lead, and develop Loan Officers. Provide ongoing training, sales meetings, and development opportunities for the mortgage sales team.
• Provide a high level of leadership. Work closely with all functional areas to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Prospecting all types of leads (inbound, outbound, and company provided)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and the requirements of the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, all employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising good judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Non Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acquire a thorough knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, and underwriting requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field or job experience equivalency
• Proven experience in mortgage sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
