Description
As the Wealth Management Business Insights Manager, you will lead a team that is responsible for synthesizing complex data to deliver meaningful, actionable business insights and strategic guidance to our business partners. You will oversee centralizing analytics, research, and optimization efforts to inform both high level strategy and tactical decision-making across the firm. This role will be critical in evaluating the impact of various services, products, and business initiatives through reporting and analytics to provide insights and recommendations that will drive strategy on business improvement and opportunity. You will apply your domain expertise to train and lead a team of Business Insights Analysts in providing predictive, prescriptive, diagnostic, and descriptive data analytics to support business initiatives and data requests. You will also enforce the adoption of Data Governance within your team.
Primary responsibilities include
- Provide analyses to identify trends/insights and formulate recommendations that will influence
- business decisions. Analyze and present customized data requests, transforming data into a story that informs both high level strategy and tactical decision making.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their evolving business needs and translate
- requirements into deliverables. Provide strategic guidance and custom solutions for data needs.
- Identify business process improvements to be made as a result of analytics insights. Track uptake of data and analytics initiatives by the business.
- Train, mentor and develop Business Insights Analyst directs through regular coaching and one-on-ones.
- Enforce the adoption of data quality and data governance for the team.
Qualifications
- 7 years professional experience in an analytical role
- Demonstrated problem solving with deep experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
- Highly proficient with numbers and analytics
- Strong MS Office skills
- Experience leading meetings and giving formal presentations required
- Ability to manage and develop ongoing client relationships
- Project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in multiple departments
- Experience with market research, analyzing consumer behavior, or consulting
Preferred:
- Prior supervisory experience a plus
- SQL and Tableau skills
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
