The City and County of Broomfield is looking for an Arts & History Program Lead to join their team. This position supports the Arts and Venues Supervisor in presenting successful arts and cultural programs for the Arts and History division of the Library, Arts, History and CSU Extension Department. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position oversees daily correspondence with renters of the Broomfield Auditorium, coordinates with the auditorium technical team and presented artists, as well as completes marketing requirements for all division programs. Programs supported include Summer Concert Series, Artist in Residence and community rentals of the Auditorium.

Assists with division programs, events, activities, engagement and marketing
Provides non-technical coordination and front of house management for indoor and outdoor program venues and facilities, including the Broomfield Auditorium, SL75 Mobile Stage, Jefferson Academy and other offsite venues as required.
Provides excellent customer service to artists, community members, audiences, partners and collaborators while performing event, marketing and support duties.
Plans and implements division engagement and marketing strategies, including use of newsletters, social media, digital signage, design and content of webpages, flyers, digital and print ads, print materials and other promotional collateral.
Supports artists, groups and organizations for programs and events.
Assists with managing policies, procedures and implementation of facility rental programs
Assists rental groups with guidelines and procedures, booking software and general inquiries including lobby space, ticketing, marketing and supporting high-level scope of services written for rental and artist contracts
Assists staff during events with technical consultations.
Analyzes data to evaluate and make recommendations for events, rental programs and policies and procedures.
Assists with recruiting, training and leading work of assigned staff.
Supports development, implementation, training and leading of emergency protocols and procedures for events and venues.
Provides support to staff as necessary.
Education
High School Diploma/GED - required
Experience
3 years experience required in public events, event management and marketing
Or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the Necessary Applicant Traits.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (in addition to above requirements):
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record for continued employment. New hires must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: in-person or virtual interviews, reference checks, DMV check, background checks including local police check and sex-offender registry.
Regular, predictable attendance required
Work is performed at City/County work locations with the ability to perform some duties remotely in accordance with Broomfield's remote work policy
Work is generally scheduled Monday through Friday with some weekend, evenings, and holiday work required.
Attend meetings as required during evening hours. Some meetings will require in-person attendance.
In-person customer/client/team meetings required.
Physical demands are described as medium (exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects).
