New Restaurant Opening Certified Trainer
Reports to Regional Training Manager/Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY AND MISSION:
This position contributes to City Barbeque's success by ensuring that all new restaurant openings are executed at the highest level possible. They will follow company standards through detailed training and build a company culture community—teaching, coaching, and mentoring to grow operational efficiencies.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Functions-
- Traveling from opening to opening to support all training functions pertaining to the new restaurant opening.
- Educate and train hands-on work to new hires and employees
- Ongoing process improvement of techniques for efficient training
- Ensure efficient and effective restaurant operations within given guidelines.
- Analyze and evaluate teammate training needs for better performance.
- Coach teammates on food quality, safety, culture, job functions, and teamwork.
- Provide verbal and physical/visual on-the-job training in restaurant positions.
- Provide detailed feedback to each trainee as to their progress. Outlining specific work or actions needed to perform any task as identified.
- Evaluations of training needs and training progress.
- Uphold, teach, and live company guiding behaviors, purpose and mission, and values.
- Work closely with Regional Training Managers on any additional work functions needed.

MISCELLANEOUS.
- Traveling may be up to 80% of the time. Travel for any one restaurant could be 3 or more weeks at a time, with a deployment to another restaurant immediately after.
- Ability and willingness to work in a home restaurant when not scheduled to support a new opening.
- 21 years of age or older for travel (Per diem will be paid while supporting openings)
- Stand for long periods.
