We are looking for Friday & Saturday greeter at City Barrel Brewery Kitchen
We are looking for a super friendly, reliable, driven host for Friday and Saturdays at our fantastic restaurant! Have you ever been told you're too loud? Talk too much, have too much energy or are TOO friendly? This is the job for you!
We are offering a $15/hr base rate tip outs for this position (avg $17/hr). Experience preferred. You have the ability to also receive direct tips for to-go beer and merch sales.
Hours required: Friday 2:30-8:30 or 4 pm - 10:15pm
Saturday 11:30 AM- 6:30pm - or 3pm - 10:15pm
** Occasional weekday afternoon/evening hours may be available
- Greet guest with a smile and provide options for seating or standing
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
- Answer Phone calls, take reservations, confirmation of reservations, capturing information in our SpotOn Reservation app
- Manage online reservations and create waitlists using our SpotOn Reservation and Waitlist App
- Balance service sections by seating evenly, accounting for reservations and based on communication with servers
- Assess if a server can handle another table or is overwhelmed with current load and communicate with servers effectively
- Assess when a wait-list needs to be implemented in order to ensure service levels for guests remain high
- Assist guests and accept payment for retail sales of packaged beer and promotional goods
- Answers general customer questions about the brewery including the philosophy of City Barrel Brewing Company, the Craft Beer industry in general, and beer styles.
- Performs shift change and/or opening or closing duties
- Restocking and replenishment of retail inventory and bathroom supplies as needed.
- Stock beer cold box & front face retail beer
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the taproom and server stations including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, bathrooms and storage areas.
- Clean bathrooms at end of night.
- Performs housekeeping of retail and stock areas. Cleans shelves, counters, windows and tables.
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager.

Physical Requirements:
- MOST IMPORTANT - Must have the capacity to smile and speak to guests in a welcoming manner while on the clock
- Be able to be on your feet standing or walking for 8-10 hours a shift
- Carry & lift 15 pound trash bags into the dumpster
- Be able to bend, reach above shoulders and clean bathrooms as well as performing various cleaning tasks
- Be able to walk the length of the restaurant multiple times, as well as walk up and down stairs carrying paper products & cleaning supplies
- Be able to operate a hand-held tablet system and both read and speak fluently in English
- Be able to move quickly during busy restaurant times

Working Conditions:
● 100% Walk and stand - Lots of on feet time. Get those comfy shoes.
● 90% Communicate with Guests and Team Members
● 50% Operate cash register, Point of Sale system, and cash handling
● 25% Reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift up to 50 pounds.
