Water Treatment Plant Operator

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Monitor water treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collect and analyze data related to plant operations
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary adjustments or repairs
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or loaders as required
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of distributed control systems and logic controllers
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Basic math skills for calculations related to water treatment processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $20.22 - $24.35 per hour
