The City of Charleston Illinois is seeking a part-time Ambulance Billing Clerk. This is a part-time position: $17-$19/hour DOQ, 15-20 hours / week between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Flexible availability. The Ambulance Billing Clerk works at City Hall completing accurate and timely data entry, coding and day-to-day ambulance billing, routine clerical tasks, operate departmental software, and communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills. Must be motivated to continue learning and apply knowledge, skills, and abilities to other duties as required.

To be considered, candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid Illinois driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent and pass an extensive background investigation. Experience is a plus, but will train. This is an IMRF position.
