The City of Cibolo is inviting college students that are City of Cibolo residents who are interested in a temporary job as a Information Services Intern to apply to join our amazing City! Working closely with the Information Services team and under the guidance of the Information Services Director, the intern will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the department by providing technical support and services to City Staff. As the primary resource for problem management and resolution, the intern will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and addressing technical issues while developing critical problem-solving skills. As an Information Services Intern, you will acquire invaluable skills by assisting the Information Services Director, which will serve you well as you enter the professional workforce. Our type: The ideal candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a master’s Degree and live within the city limits of Cibolo. The ideal candidates should possess an interest in Information Services. We are looking for an Information Services Intern that is extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. Each intern will learn the inner workings of a department within the city by helping them with special projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability.

- Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university, working towards a degree in degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.
- City of Cibolo resident
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass FBI criminal background fingerprint check and comply with state and federal requirements for Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) standards.
