The purpose of this job is to perform semi-skilled manual labor related to street repair and maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description
- Reconstructs or repairs pavement.
- Performs general labor duties.
- Performs maintenance and work zone duties including setting up and taking down work zones, acting as a flagger, and other labor-oriented duties.
- Operates specialized motorized equipment and tools to perform tasks.
- Mows designated areas.
- Cleans and maintains building and equipment.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Some experience with manual labor.
Licenses or Certifications
- Valid driver’s license

- Standard practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment related to street repair and maintenance.
- Safety standards and precautions pertaining to the use and operation of motorized equipment and hand/power tools.
