The Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging (COAAA), a Division of the Recreation and Parks Department for The City of Columbus, plans, funds, and delivers social services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes. With the assistance of area providers, COAAA arranges and coordinates services to help individuals with daily living such as homemaking, transportation, home-delivered meals, and personal care. COAAA offers education and resources to caregivers, professionals, and the public and advocates for programs and policies that benefit older adults and individuals with disabilities. COAAA manages services for 10,000 people and funds services for another 20,000 older adults in eight central Ohio counties.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's information systems and networks. You will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Duties May Include:

  • Identify, research, analyze, and respond to cyber incidents and malicious activity to determine weakness exploited, exploitation methods, and the effects on information system environments.
  • Develop, document, implement, and manage cybersecurity plans, processes and procedures in order to maintain the status of information system environments.
  • Analyze cybersecurity data to identify gaps between existing practices and compliance requirements.
  • Identify where the controls/network configurations deviate from acceptable standards or policies, report on appropriate treatment of information system vulnerabilities, implications of lapses, and assurance of internal and external threat tolerance.
  • Coordinate responses to information technology third party security audit requests utilizing subject matter expertise to correctly identify appropriate sources.
  • Develop and maintain reporting methodology to ensure accurate tracking of audit responses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree with significant coursework (twenty-one (21) semester or thirty-two (32) quarter hours) in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field;

or

  • Possession of an associate’s degree two and (2) years of experience developing, implementing, or maintaining information technology systems.
  • Substitution(s): Additional information technology experience as listed above may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Pay: $74,755.20 - $93,412.80 per year
