Supervises Plant Operators in the daily operations of the water and/or wastewater system plants; monitors and maintain treatment chemical inventory; monitors SCADA controls; ensures the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly monitor reports; monitors lab work; monitors all sampling for plant chemical feeds as well as ODEQ compliance; ensures plant and equipment are maintained.

Experience Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a water and/or wastewater plant operator; minimum of one year of supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Minimum Education Requirements: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent.

Direct Supervisor: Plant Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibility: Plant Operators; others when assigned.

Primary Work Location: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Employee may be exposed to Bloodborne Pathogens. Hepatitis B Vaccination is available.
