The City of Danbury is now hiring Head Lifeguard for the Summer 2024 season.

Head Lifeguards ensure the safety and welfare of all guests and patrons while providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance. As the head guard, this individual is responsible for supervision of lifeguards when the Waterfront Director is unavailable. This position operates Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

  • Responsible for supervision of life guards when Director is unavailable.
  • Asist in conducting lifeguard drills
  • Assists in lifeguard scheduling
  • Assists with resolution of gate issues
 
Requirements:
  • Mute be Red Cross Lifeguard certified
