At the City of Danville, we care deeply about our citizens’ quality of life. We are seeking a Community Relations Coordinator to help us fulfill four primary functions.
1. Provide organizational support to the Community Relations Administrator.
2. Plan and implement successful and positive events that benefit the culture of Danville.
3. Foster and increase positive relationships with community partners and neighborhood associations.
4. Improve our image both within and outside of our community.
As the Community Relations Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with the community, stakeholders, and media outlets. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance our organization's reputation and promote our mission. Our ideal team member will have excellent organizational, communication, and event coordination skills. Experience with graphic design and marketing strongly desired.

Residency Requirements: Unless otherwise dictated by a Collective Bargaining agreement, employees of the City must establish their principal residence in Illinois, within forty-five (45) miles of the City of Danville corporate limits within six months following successful completion of their probationary period.
