Job Summary
The Chief of Police is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of law enforcement operations within the department. Duties
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to law enforcement personnel
- Manage and coordinate criminal investigations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Oversee community outreach programs and initiatives
- Handle emergency situations effectively
- Supervise staff, including training and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports
Requirements
- Extensive experience in law enforcement with a focus on criminal investigation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of immigration law, conflict management, loss prevention, and report writing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Certification in law enforcement or related field is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
