What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pirates Cove Maintenance Worker position at City of Englewood?
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the facility maintenance of Pirates Cove Family Aquatic Center. This person will perform all duties necessary to maintaining the bathhouse, grounds, Swimming Pools and all buildings. Must be able to take initiative, and work well without direct supervision. Must be able to work with general cleaning supplies and lift chemical containers. Hours may require early morning and or late evening. Requires excellent customer service skills. All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check.

1. Cleaning/mopping tile areas
2. Emptying waste receptacles
3. Cleaning of shower and toilet areas
4. Vacuuming
5. Deck cleaning
6. Picking up debris inside and outside of facility grounds
7. Vacuuming swimming pools
8. Maintaining swimming pool equipment
9. Maintaining swimming pool standards set forth by the State of Colorado Health Department
10. Records daily, weekly, monthly logs as required
11. All duties necessary to maintain a clean and safe facility
