What are the responsibilities and job description for the PeopleSoft Developer position at City of Eugene?
Job Location: Eugene, Oregon (telecommuting from within Oregon is possible - must be able to travel to Eugene as needed and must be able to work in the Eugene office at least 2 days per week.)
Title: PeopleSoft Developer
Duties: Perform an array of professional and technical support activities for the City's main software application, Oracle's PeopleSoft. These duties include software analysis, implementation, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications. Responsible for software performance testing and troubleshooting, as well as the production of system specifications, procedures, and documentation.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Information Technology or a closely related field (such as Programming, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering) and 8 years of experience as an Application Systems Analyst or related occupation. Experience must include:
- 6 years of experience in computer analysis and programming with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM or ELM
- 6 years of experience writing/modifying Application Package, Application Engine, PeopleCode, PS Query, Component Interface, File Layout, SQR
- 6 years of experience using development tools such as Application Designer, Data Mover, BI Publisher and Integration Broker
- 6 years of experience using SQL (Microsoft SQL) for analyzing and developing applications
- 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting PeopleSoft modules and applications
- 6 years of experience with JIRA or a similar ticket tracking system for development
