Seasonal Sanitary Sewer Operator Assistant
Job Posting for Seasonal Sanitary Sewer Operator Assistant at City of Faribault
- Assist with sanitary sewer cleaning and maintenance
- Sanitary manhole inspections
- Assist in sanitary lift station maintenance
- Assist with sewer pipeline camera inspections
- Cleaning of city vehicles
Must possess a High School diploma and a Class D drivers license. Able to operate an I-Pad, drive a pickup with trailer, run a chain saw, weed whip, lawn mower, pressure washer, magnetic locator, and line tracer.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit and talk or hear use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in indoor and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT PROCESS
The City of Faribault conducts a thorough pre-employment process for incumbents joining the organization. This process may include professional reference checks, employment verification, assessment testing, criminal history check, and driver’s check (must have valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record). All final candidates must successfully complete and pass the City’s evaluation of all pre-employment results before their first day of employment.
