Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
The Storm Water/Streets Crew Coordinator position coordinates the construction and maintenance activities for the Asphalt Maintenance, Street Maintenance, and Stormwater Maintenance. This position reports to the Section Supervisor and is accountable for the planning, estimating, organizing, and reporting of multiple projects assigned to various work units, crews, and sections. You will also coordinate with other City forces, outside contractors, utilities, and other agencies; assuring safe work practices are followed; intermediate and final inspections of work; tracking actual costs, and evaluating work methods, materials, and preparation of work management records. You must also possess some level of customer service skills. This position is subject to participating in emergency situations and work schedules assigned to this department. The job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED with 4 years in Asphalt Maintenance, Street Maintenance, Stormwater Maintenance, and/or construction-related field
- No High school diploma/GED with 8 years of Asphalt Maintenance, Street Maintenance, Stormwater Maintenance, and/or construction-related field
- 4 years of supervisory experience
- Class B Commercials Drivers License with tanker and air brakes endorsement
- Construction and maintenance planning experience
- 6 years of supervisory experience
