DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
This position assists the Clerks Department. The position is responsible for performing all election duties, accounts payable, and City Clerk clerical support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintaining Voter registration through QVF program
· Hiring election inspectors (all correspondence between election inspectors and City Hall)
· Preparing Absent Voter applications and ballots, including overseas and Military
· Misc. election work (preparing election supply boxes and bags for election day, burning USB Pollbook, and installing on laptops)
· All aspects of accounts payables (sorting & inputting invoices, questions, check runs, and verifying positive pay for the bank)
· Create and send Council minutes for publication
· Prepare Bid proposals and assist with Bid openings
· Maintaining the Insurance for subcontractors working with the City
· Shared Duties: Utility & Tax bill processing, answering phones, assisting customers, update the City’s website, invoices for code enforcement, 300ft letters, and other office duties
