Job Description
Under the direction of the Tennis Program Supervisor, instruct, test and evaluate youth and adults in beginning through excellence group levels in the Holland Recreation Tennis Program. Maintain a good standard of discipline with the students in a climate of good, safe recreational activity. Initiate and enforce rules and policies as outlined by Holland Recreation. Perform related duties pertaining to the tennis program as assigned by the Tennis Program Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Teach, test, and evaluate the fundamentals of tennis and sportsmanship to participants.
2. Maintain a good standard of discipline with the students in a climate of good recreational activity.
3. Assist the program supervisor as required.
4. Maintain a safe environment for participants.
5. Enforce rules and regulations as outlined by the supervisor.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: - 1. Knowledge of the sport of tennis.
2. The ability to lead a group of kids or adults.
3. Ability to pass a background check.
4. Physical ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/transport equipment and materials weighting up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Work includes outside working conditions with periodic exposure to extreme hot or cold weather conditions.
