Customer Relations Officer
Job Posting for Customer Relations Officer at City of Indianapolis and Marion County
Position is responsible for providing customer service, issuing citations, calculating and processing fee payments, generating financial reports of daily transactions, processing and maintaining data, and answering telephones.Processes and screens applications to adopt animals in the shelter.
May be required to process and screen claims of impounded animals.
May be required to process and respond to public records requests.
Prepares bank deposits.
Schedules veterinary appointments for adopted animals,
Follows standard operating procedures.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.Must be qualified to receive and maintain special police powers, including the successful completion of any necessary training. Must have effective written and oral communication skills and basic math skills. Must have basic computer skills, including word processing, and ability to operate standard office equipment. Must pass a background check and must be a resident citizen of the United States or have the right to work in the United States.All actions performed will be in compliance with city ordinances regarding Animal Care Services and the standard operating procedures of the division.
