Job Description Summary

Age (as of 5/21/24) & Certification Requirements:
At least 15 years old: Lifeguards, Front Desk Staff and Non-Certified Swim Lesson Instructors.
At least 16 years old: WSI Certified Swim Lesson Instructors.
At least 18 years old: Cleaning Crew and Managers.
Certification Requirements: Lifeguards and Managers must have First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Training. Pool Managers must also be certified in Nebraska Pool Operation. First Aid and CPR/AED certifications preferred for Front Desk Staff and Swim Lesson Instructors.
AQUATICS:
Lifeguard: 20-40 hours per week. Weekday and weekend mornings, afternoons and evenings, mid-May-August. Pay range: $14.00-$14.25 per hour, opportunity to advance to Head Lifeguard based on work performance and earn $14.50-$15.00 per hour. (All lifeguards will be required to teach swim lessons)
Pool Manager: 30-40 hours per week. Weekday and weekend mornings, afternoons and evenings, May-August. Pay range: $15.50-$16.00 per hour, opportunity to advance to Head Manager based on work performance and earn $16.50-$18.50 per hour.
Cleaning Crew: 3-6 hours per week. Weekday and weekend mornings, mid-May-August. Wages vary based on main job title.
Swimming Pool Customer Service Attendant: 15-30 hours per week. Weekday and weekend mornings, afternoons and evenings, mid-May-August. Pay range: $12.00-$12.50 per hour, opportunity to advance to Head Front Desk based on work performance and earn $13.00 per hour. (All front desk staff will be required to teach swim lessons)
Non-Certified Swim Lesson Instructor: 12-18 hours per week. Weekday mornings and evenings, June-July. Pay range: $14.00-$14.25 per hour.
WSI Certified Swim Lesson Instructor: 12-18 hours per week. Weekday mornings and evenings, June-July. Pay range: $14.50-$15.00 per hour.
Salary : $17 - $19
