Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Chief of Police. As the Chief of Police, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all law enforcement activities within our jurisdiction. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent decision-making abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of public safety.

Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to ensure effective law enforcement operations
- Provide leadership and guidance
- Coordinate and oversee the investigation of crimes and incidents
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community members, organizations, and other law enforcement agencies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Manage department budget and resources effectively
- Conduct regular training programs for police officers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in law enforcement

Qualifications:
-Currently Enrolled or a graduate of a POST Certified Police Academy
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Strong knowledge of law enforcement principles, procedures, and techniques
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and criminal investigation methods
- Experience in animal handling (preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
