Job Posting for Mentor - (Part time) at City of Little Rock

This is not a safety/security sensitive position for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment and is not subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.Provides administrative and organizational support to the Community Resources Manager and Department Director in the development and operation of the Summer Youth Employment program.  Applicants must be between the ages of 18-25 by June 5, 2023.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18-25 by June 5, 2023. Applicants interested in being considered to fill Leader (Mentor) positions should meet the following requirements:
  1. Have a valid Class D (Non-Commercial) Driver's License before employment. 
  2. Currently attending college AND in good standing (recent college graduates will be considered).
  3. Completed thirty (30) hours* of college (2nd year college student).
  4. Have previously worked for two (2) years or more in the Summer Youth Employment program.
  5. City of Little Rock resident (preferred but not required).
*Only hours completed at an institution accredited by one (1) of the six (6) regional accrediting associations recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education will be accepted. The institution's accreditation must have been in effect during the time period in which the hours were earned.
