The purpose of this position is to manage the Welcome Center during Saturday hours with the primary function of welcoming visitors to Marietta. This is accomplished by providing accurate information on local and regional tourism products – which includes providing directions to hotels, attractions, retail shops, special events – and ensuring the center is kept in an organized, neat condition.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the Saturday operationof Visit Marietta
- Meet and greet visitors, answer all visitor inquiries and provide appropriate information such as brochures, maps and directions
- Maintain and record the daily number of visitors
- Assist the Welcome Center Manager in processing all outgoing mail - phone, email and leads generated labels
- Assist the Welcome Center Manager in assembling tour packets
- Process gift shop sales by taking money and recording inventory
- Be willing to work some Sundays as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
