The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts meetings with all key stakeholders to announce the start of the project and review the overall project plan.Participate in shaping the framework and guidelines set forth for the project steering committee. Partners with user departments in preparing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ).Coordinates the process of reviewing, interviewing, assessing and evaluating RFPs submitted by vendors.Records detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to establish the project deliverables.Defines and documents project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Develops full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.Supervises matrixed employees including the assignment and evaluation of work, reviewing performance, mentoring, advising, and training.Communicates project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary.
