The City of Moorhead Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the following positions at the Hjemkomst Center
Lead Building Attendant ($18.00-$19.60)
Responsible detail oriented individual with good customer service to provide various maintenance and building tasks for the Hjemkomst Center. Duties include: opening building, preparing facility for staff and customer arrival, cleaning the facility, setting up conference rooms with tables and chairs for meetings, and maintaining the grounds by the use of mowers/ trimmers and snow removal equipment. Additionally, this person will assist customers as needed in the absence of the Facility Coordinator and Parks Director. Some lifting up to 50 lbs.
Hours: Monday-Friday days with occasional early evenings. Flexible. Approximately 20-30 hours per week. Temporary year-around
Occasional weekend may be needed for assistance with festivals, boiler checks or snow removal.
Building Attendant ($13.50-$15.10)
Part-time temporary year-around position. Hours may vary based on building schedule but will generally be weekdays, late afternoon into early evening with occasional weekend daytime hours. Duties include general building cleaning, set-up and clean-up of meeting facilities, opening/closing of building, snow removal. Must have good communication skills and reliable transportation. Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Age 18 or older.
