Performs administrative work overseeing the operations, programming activities, and
maintenance of the Tennis Centre. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for promoting facility usage, revenue generation, and bookkeeping, evaluating and supervising the work of facility staff, facility maintenance, and tennis pro instructor contractors. The Manager ensures excellent customer service to meet patron's expectations and develops community-focused programs. As well as developing and implementing a succession plan. Work is performed under the general direction of the Recreation Program Manager and reviewed through reports, conferences, and results achieved.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Oversee and manage the following:
(1) Crew Chief, (1) Park Service Worker,
(2) Recreation Specialist, (1) Recreation Worker
(5) Seasonal Workers, (6) Tennis Instructors

Programming should consist of the following for Tennis and Pickleball:
Youth & Adult clinics, Cardio Clinics, Round-Robins, Leagues, and Tournaments.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) years of management experience in a tennis facility, including some supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License is required. Valid United States Safe Sport certification is required. Must pass a background check which includes a polygraph. Availability required to work morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
