Examples of Work Duties

• Supervise groups of children during Camp Extended Care hours: 7a-10am, or 2-6pm.
• Oversee a variety of outdoor activities, games, sports, or crafts for groups of campers.
• Lead recreational and educational activities.
• Oversee an assigned group of campers.
• Make sure all safety rules are followed.
• Communicate with parents as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience leading or working with children in some capacity. (1 year preferred.)
• Familiarity with various outdoor activities and ability to spend days outdoors in changing environments.
• Ability and interest in nature crafts, arts, drama, or song.
• Patient and reliable.
• Organizational and communication skills.
• Desire and patience to work with children.
• Energetic and positive personality.
• College experience preferred. High school accepted. Equivalent life experience accepted.
