Outstanding working relationships with several City Departments and Divisions are essential for the success of this program.
Exceptional organizational skills are key to success in this role.
Incumbent will be required to maintain rosters of available parcels for sale or lease, in the central business district, and throughout the City.
Previous experience in marketing, communication, and urban planning or economic development is strongly desired.
Abilities
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
Ability to research and prepare detailed statistical analyses of economic indicators and market conditions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, representatives of other businesses, trade associations, civic groups, and the public as necessitated by the work.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economic development, public administration, entrepreneurship, or a related field. Five years of equivalent experience in small business administration or local government will be considered in place of education.
