Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is actively searching for an exceptional and experienced Senior Safety and Health Professional to join the Utility. This position supports general safety, health and environmental functions focusing on construction and industrial hygiene efforts, while partnering with leadership and front-line staff. You will work along side other safety team members to collaborate on projects while also working independently. Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a safety or health related field or equivalent field.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene. Biology, Engineering, or another related field.
Experience and Education Equivalency: Combinations of appropriate education, training, and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability to the minimum education and experience requirements.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
License, Certification and Other Requirements: At the time of appointment must hold a valid Washington State Driver License.

Workplace Environment: Employees will be required to come into the office five days a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
The full salary range for this position is $51.82 - $60.32 per hour.
