The Engineering Coordinator performs skilled professional and technical work involved with coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing construction, inspections, and maintenance of public and private infrastructure. Responds to public complaints and inquiries pertaining to engineering and infrastructure while maintaining quality customer service including in-person meetings, site visits, and written correspondence. Coordinates and/or performs prioritization, preliminary design, cost estimating, bid preparations, and project coordination of construction projects. Assists with the preparation and planning of the City’s Powell Bill Budget and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Engineering Manager.
Hours: Monday-Friday, first shift. Flexible schedule required.
To Compete in the Selection Process: Associates Technical degree with coursework in civil engineering, or related field and moderate experience in civil engineering and utility construction project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
