Transportation Planner
Job Posting for Transportation Planner at City of Springfield (MO)
We are looking for a Transportation Planner to join our Public Works team! This role performs a variety of duties requiring a expertise in all facets of transportation master planning, design principals, and practices. The Transportation Planner assists with coordination and implementation of departmental capital improvement projects and related transportation programs.

Experience, Education, and Training
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with specialization in Community or Transportation Planning, Engineering, Economics, Geography, or related field;
AND
- Two years of responsible related experience;
- A Master's Degree may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Licensing/Certification
- American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) membership or registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri is desired, but not required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
