Summary of Position
Lifeguard Attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety of guests at indoor and outdoor aquatics facilities. Lifeguards must be vigilant, quick-thinking, and capable of handling stressful situations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies
- Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations, administering first-aid if necessary
- Participate in regular in-service training
- General cleaning through aquatics facilities
Qualifications or desired qualifications
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to successfully complete Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Certification prior to start date.
